South Carolina//David Strandin
Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 11:02AM So I'm back! Finally... I recently spent a week and a half in Hilton Head, South Carolina, a.k.a. "Paradise." It's absolutely amazing there. The tropics on the east coast are just gorgeous. I'm a big fan of beautiful trees and wonderful beaches, and you can't get more of those in Hilton Head. The best part? We didn't pay for anything but food. We played some of the most exclusive golf courses on the east coast, walked on Harbor Town's 18th green, where they hold the Verizon PGA Tour event every year, hung out with millionaires on yachts, walked sunsets on the beach, and ate some incredible seafood.
I went with my friend David to caddy for him at the Quail Hollow PGA Tournament qualifier. We played a round in Charlotte, North Carolina and missed the cut by 2 strokes. David did make 5 birdies though. These are a few pictures from around the resort, Wexford Plantation, where we spent most of our time. The green fee is over $200 to play this course for one round, and we had free reign over the course. Free rounds with the members whenever we wanted, and it was beautiful. The course is situated right near the ocean, with a marina built in to the plantation, splattered with million dollar yachts. The average house costs over $4,000,000 at Wexford and most are nothing short of around 8,000 sq. feet. HUGEEEEE!! There's one house in particular that's over 27,000 sq. feet and is estimated at around $18,000,000 I believe.
The photos below are several I took over a couple days on the golf course, the marina, and of David hitting a few balls on the course. Leave some love and hope you enjoy!
